Cosplay Made Simple

The Full Story
I remember going to conventions and seeing all these booths and stalls an celebrities and the thing that stuck out to me most was always the cosplays that people would make. How they were always able to bring these amazing and fantastical things to life and I always wanted to do it myself, but from the get go it all seemed extremely overwhelming with a lot of it needing complicated equipment or specialised skills that I really didn't have. Eventually I did develop these, but I want to change that for people who don't have the time the money or the resources to be able to learn them and I want to make it as easy and accessible as possible for people. To do this I'm using my 3D designs to make cosplay accessible.
I use 3D modelling tools such as blender, 3DS Max and AutoCAD to make the models that I 3D print. And these 3D prints are designed in a way where they can fit together perfectly and all they need is a little bit of cleanup and a fresh coat of paint to make it so they're ready for anyone to put on their shelf or cosplay at their first show.

HOW I DO IT?
Each project starts with gathering 5-10 reference images to figure out the overall shape of the model.

From here we then use relative scale, using points of reference to make the props as accurate to size as possible.

Using these things we then model the props from the references, breaking it down into different parts to allow for maximum strength, hiding seems and optimised print success rate.

Then we finally get to the stage where we can print the models and see what the experience is like to put them together, we can also stress test the product here.

We then make any final adjustments and optimization and release the print files and kits from there
